A few recent posts on the World at Work forum post have requested a tool in excel that would allow users to create dynamic job matrices that listed job families and subfamilies on one axis, and grades on another axis, with the corresponding jobs within. At the time, I didn’t have an answer, but recently I came across the website www.simplyandclearly.com – which had a tool that did almost exactly what was requested. I made a few minor changes so that the spreadsheet met my needs, but the credit belongs to the author of simplyandclearly.com.
